Rockstar has confirmed today that their Western epic Red Dead Redemption is finally being ported to modern consoles next month.

The game, which originally released back in 2010, is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and compatible iOS and Android mobile devices on December 2. Along with the base game, it’ll also include the Undead Nightmare expansion, and the other content was included with the Game of the Year edition.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version will run at 60fps with DLSS and HDR support. It’ll also feature mouse options. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game will support resolutions up to 4K, 60 fps, enhanced image quality, and HDR support.

Players who previously purchased the game on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, or Xbox One will be entitled to a free upgrade.

“Experience these epic Western adventures on the latest mobile devices and current generation consoles — with free upgrades, the ability to carry over game progress, and a number of enhancements,” Rockstar said in a statement.
