Nina Dobrev is not letting anything hold her back.
The 36-year-old Vampire Diaries alum — who ended her engagement to Olympian Shaun White in September — shared a very pointed TikTok message on Thursday, November 13, in which she flipped off the camera.
In the clip, set to Ariana Grande’s self-empowerment anthem “Break Free,” Dobrev lip-synced the lyrics with her middle finger up before switching to her empty ring finger.
“Tried to hide it, fake it,” she mouthed along to the lyrics as she looked at her ringless finger. “I can’t pretend anymore.”
Dobrev then ended the clip by putting her middle finger back up as she stared blankly into the camera.

Though the former CW star did not address anyone specifically in the TikTok message, the post comes just more than two months after her split from White, 39, made headlines.
Days after their breakup was reported, a source told People that the reason for the split was because she “wanted a family and wanted to get married — and he didn’t.”
In October 2024, White proposed to Dobrev in New York City after about five years together, but in September it was reported that they made the “mutual decision” to end their engagement.
Following their split in September, the Love Hard actress was seen with Zac Efron aboard a luxury yacht with friends Miles Teller, his wife Keleigh Teller, Chace Crawford and his girlfriend Kelsey Merritt.

Though Dobrev told TMZ that she and the High School Musical alum, 38, are just friends, a source exclusively told Star that hanging out with the hunky Disney star helped her get over the snowboarder.
“Spending time with Zac is the best medicine,” said the source, noting the pair were having “a lot” of fun and that “having Hollywood’s hottest bachelor all over her” certainly didn’t hurt.
“Even if they don’t end up dating or getting serious,” added the source, “this is really helping her put Shaun behind her.”
