A man charged in connection with an arson attack on an IPAS centre in Drogheda has been remanded in custody after the presiding judge rejected a bail application.
Sean Everitt (25), of Rowlagh Green, Clondalkin and formerly of Hawthorn Court in Drogheda appeared before Judge Nicola Andrews on Tuesday afternoon at Drogheda District Court.
He is charged with arson at George’s Street on Friday, October 31.

The court heard the accused made no reply after caution when charged with the offence.
The court heard an adult and five children had to be rescued from the building by emergency services after being trapped on the upper floor as the fire on the stairs had blocked their escape.
Judge Andrews rejected a bail application after viewing CCTV from the night and remanded the accused in custody to appear before Drogheda District Court next Monday, November 24.
