The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has ordered all departures from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to be grounded following a bomb threat, with no further information released about the nature of the threat. In addition to halting outbound flights, the FAA has also grounded aircraft heading to Philadelphia from the Washington DC, New York, Boston, and Cleveland airspace regions.
