Irish influencer Niamh Cullen has revealed the heartbreaking news that her husband Jamie Gill has sadly passed away just weeks after the couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
Taking to Instagram to share a heartbreaking video of the couple in happier times, Niamh confirmed that Jamie had died on Saturday.
“The unimaginable has happened. Our worst nightmare. My beautiful husband has been taken from us,” she wrote.
“The light of my life. I was the luckiest to be loved and adored by you Jamie. I love you endlessly, not just now, but eternally. This video for me shows our unconditional love, fun and laughter. I’m broken.”
The tragic announcement comes just weeks after Niamh shared the news of her husband Jamie’s cancer diagnosis.

The popular influencer and her partner, who have been together for over eight years, wed in Italy on Friday November 8, 2024, with Jamie falling ill just three days into their marriage.
Just two weeks before Christmas last year, Jamie had an operation during which doctors found a malignant tumour.
Taking to Instagram to pay tribute to her husband one year on from their wedding day, Niamh shared with followers what the couple have been going through.
Posting a photograph from their big day, she penned: “What was meant to be a minimoon in Rome turned into ten days in hospital. We returned home where Jamle had some scans and conversations about next steps.”

“Just two weeks before Christmas, Jamie underwent major surgery where doctors discovered a cancerous tumor.
“Our world shattered in an instant, but we stayed strong. Jamie bravely faced 10 rounds of chemotherapy. There were ups and downs along the way, but nothing could have prepared us for what followed after his 10th session.
“He was rushed into hospital by ambulance, where he developed pneumonia that turned sepsis, just hours after his chemotherapy. It was scary and really not good. Not long after, he was rushed again to hospital with unbearable pain. We were given the devastating news the cancer had returned.

“My world feels broken, my blood still runs cold, but i know this my husband is a fighter. We will not give up.”
In her post, she penned a moving message celebrating her husband’s courage and determination.
“I don’t think I’ll ever be able to articulate Jamie’s strength throughout this entire journey. He never ceases to amaze me with his incredible positive outlook and mindset, even in the darkest moments,” Niamh wrote.
“It’s been unimaginably tough seeing the person you love suffer and to feel so helpless. I get these waves of guilt daily because all I want to do is just swap places or take it away, But I can’t.
“My husband is my inspiration, my hero and I love so much being his wife. In sickness and in health I know and pray that positive things are coming. They have to be, you deeply deserve it.”
She added: “Thanks for the support and patience. It’s been the most difficult time as newlyweds.”
