Scottish Cup, third round

Auchinleck Talbot, Camelon and Cove Rangers have caused the shocks of the day in the Scottish Cup third round.

Sixth-tier Auchinleck are no strangers to beating senior sides, but a 4-0 win away to League 2 promotion chasers Dumbarton is still impressive.

Cove sit second bottom of League 1, so to beat a St Johnstone side leading the league above – and away from home – 2-1, albeit after extra time, is equally impressive.

Meanwhile, East of Scotland side Camelon beat League 2 visitors Edinburgh City 2-1.

League 2 Stranraer also needed extra time to beat Lowland League visitors Clydebank, while second-tier Morton needed penalties to beat League 1 hosts Peterhead.
