Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office stated that he spoke yesterday with the parents of the kidnapped casualty Ran Gweili, updating them on Israel’s efforts for his return. “He expressed his deep appreciation for their dignified, principled and proud stance, and said that Ran’s heroism and fall in battle fills him, his wife and the entire people of Israel with endless pain, amazement and pride,” the statement read. Additionally, he spoke with Thailand’s ambassador to Israel, Pannabha Chandraramya, and updated him on efforts to return the kidnapped casualty Sontisak Rinthalek. He said many efforts are being made for his return, and Israel will always support the families of kidnapped and returning Thai citizens.
