Denver International Airport, where Denver’s official weather is recorded, saw 0.2 inches of snow on Saturday.

DENVER — The Denver metro saw its first measurable snowfall of the season on Saturday morning.

Denver International Airport recorded 0.2 inches of snow early Saturday morning. DIA is where Denver’s official weather records are recorded.

Saturday’s snowfall is Denver’s second latest snowfall on record, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. The latest Denver has seen a first snow was on Dec. 10 back in 2021.

The storm that provided Denver with its first snow of the season will have a larger impact in the mountains, bringing another possible 4-8 inches on Saturday and Sunday.

The next storm system could bring another chance for snow in Denver by the middle of next week.
