A sexual predator who peddled bizarre conspiracy theories about jurors and police has been jailed. Natalie Wolf, also known as Ryan Haley, was found guilty of sexual activity with a child following a trial.
Wolf, 47, was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison after the victim detailed the traumatic impact the crime had on her life. The judge at Newcastle Crown Court dismissed Wolf’s conspiracy theories, reports ChronicleLive.
In a heart-wrenching statement read out in court, the victim said: “I know you as Ryan Haley, a man who sexually abused me. There are few things more isolating than living in a body you don’t feel safe in. I’ve carried shame, self-doubt and a sense of disconnection from myself.

“I’m left carrying what they did. It made my body feel like a battlefield. Watching them celebrate their life and body feels like salt in my wounds. While I’ve watched Ryan move forward, I’m left carrying what he did.
“Ryan, you destroyed me as a child, a teenager and an adult. Today you are finally going to face justice. Today, Ryan Haley, you are going to get what you deserve.”
Judge Gavin Doig, passing sentence, stated that he had read various notes provided by the defendant suggesting there had been a conspiracy involving the court, prison service, barristers, solicitors, police and many other people.
The judge said: “You make allegations in the notes, most of which I won’t repeat, including the suggestion someone was hypnotising the jury or that the jury was planted with people that didn’t like you so they convicted you. You suggest the victim hypnotised the police officer.
“You are not the victim of a conspiracy. You are not the victim at all. (The woman) is the victim and the sooner you accept that, the better it will be going forward. You will be released from prison in due course. I hope you are able to move on and receive the help you need.”
The judge warned that if Wolf “continues to believe you are the victim of a conspiracy and nothing is your fault”, it would lead to further difficulties.
Judge Doig added: “I pay tribute to (the victim). It’s no easy thing to come forward with an allegation like this. I commend her for doing so and I wish her well for the future.”
Wolf, who appeared in court without legal representation, accused the complainant of lying, claimed someone else had committed the offence and indicated a desire to appeal.
Wolf added: “I’m not even sexually attracted to females in that way.”
Wolf, of Shipley Walk in Byker, Newcastle upon Tyne, has 13 previous convictions but none for any sexual offences. The court heard Wolf suffers from a personality disorder and mental health difficulties.
Wolf, who was found guilty of sexual activity with a child, received a three-and-a-half year prison sentence and was handed an indefinite restraining order, a sexual harm prevention order and must register as a sex offender for life.
