More snow arrives for our area late Monday night and into Tuesday.
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Monday night, widespread snow is looking very likely overnight, with a couple inches of snow by morning.
Expect snow showers Tuesday for the morning commute with a general 2 to 4 inches of snow expected, and a bit more for the Southern Tier higher terrain 3 to 6 inches.
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for all of Western New York from 1 AM Tuesday until 7 PM Tuesday evening. Winter weather advisories are also posted for Potter and McKean counties in Northern Pennsylvania.
A Weather Impact Alert from Storm Team 2 for overnight Monday night and into Tuesday for the snow accumulations, reduced visibilities and snow covered roads impacting travel.  A slower morning commute is expected.
The steady snow will also occur during the morning commute on Tuesday, with improving conditions later in the day.
Drying up Tuesday night into Wednesday, then more snow returns Wednesday night into Thursday with even colder air moving in for late week.
