Out of this total, swimmers won  $4.38 USD million, shared between the World Aquatics Swimming World Cup and the World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025. This marks one of the most lucrative seasons to date for the swimmers.

The single largest prize purse of the year came at the World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025. With $6.1 million awarded across swimming, diving, artistic swimming, water polo, open water swimming, and high diving, this edition of the event was the most financially substantial in history.

In addition to the $4.38 million won by swimmers across the Swimming World Cup and the World Championships, World Aquatics awarded nearly six million more to athletes and teams across the other aquatics sports at its events in 2025. The breakdown by sport is as follows (USD):

Swimming: $ 4.38 million
Diving: $1.99 million
Water Polo: $1.53 million
Artistic Swimming: $1.01 million
Open Water Swimming: $916,000
High Diving: $214,000
