Woman dies after dog attack in South Australia’s upper Spencer Gulf

South Australian police say a woman has died after a dog attack at Whyalla in the state’s upper Spencer Gulf region. 

Emergency services were called to a property at Whyalla Stuart just after 4pm following reports of an animal bite.

Police said the woman suffered serious injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene.

A police spokesperson told the ABC the woman’s death will be reported to the coroner and is not being treated as suspicious.
