The matches will be held in Atlanta in June.
ATLANTA — FIFA announced the matches that will be held in Atlanta in the early part of the World Cup on Saturday.
On Friday, Atlanta found out which groups would be playing in the city and which countries were in each group.Â
Now, FIFA has revealed which matches will actually be played in Atlanta. However, none of the matches will include the USA or Canada since they are not included in any of the groups that were announced during Friday’s drawing.
Here is the list of the groups playing in Atlanta:
Group AÂ Includes Mexico, South Africa, South Korea and the winner of European Playoff D (Czech Republic, Ireland, Denmark and North Macedonia). So the game in Atlanta on June 18 will feature two of those four teams (the European playoff will be decided in matches on March 26 and March 31).Group CÂ Two of Brazil, Morocco, Haiti and Scotland will be in the June 24 match.Group HÂ Includes Spain, Cabo Verde, Saudi Arabia and Uruguay, so we know on June 15 and June 21 we will see games in Atlanta involving those four teams.Group KÂ Has Portugal, Uzbekistan, Colombia and the winner of the first inter-confederation playoff (Democratic Republic of Congo vs. either Jamaica or New Caledonia, in a match to be decided on March 31).

Monday, June 15: Match 14, Group HSpain vs Cabo Verde at 12 p.m. Thursday, June 18: Match 25, Group ASouth Africa vs. the winner of the European playoff D, which could be either Denmark, Ireland, the Czech Republic, or North Macedonia, at 12:00 p.m.Sunday, June 21: Match 38, Group HSpain vs. Saudi Arabia at 12 p.m.Spain is currently the world’s top team in FIFA ranking. Wednesday, June 24: Match 50, Group C  Morocco vs. Haiti at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 27: Match 72, Group KCOD/JAM/NCL VS. Uzbekistan at 7:30 p.m.
Atlanta will also host the Knockout stage matches and the semi-final.
