They say the photos were carefully selected to provide the American public with transparency and insights into Epstein’s network and his “extremely disturbing activities.”

Some of the images were of passports and ID cards of women Epstein and his associates were engaging with. Countries listed on the heavily-redacted documents include Ukraine, Russia, South Africa, Italy, the Czech Republic and Lithuania.

Other photos showed the late financier around rich and powerful men, including Steve Bannon, the former White House strategist and Donald Trump political adviser.

The Justice Department has until Friday to release all Epstein documents after President Donald Trump signed a bill into law last month, bowing to political pressure from both Democrats and Republicans. The House of Representatives passed the legislation with a 427-1 vote and the Senate approved it unanimously without a formal vote.

“As we approach the deadline for the Epstein Files Transparency Act, these new images raise more questions about what exactly the Department of Justice has in its possession,” Democrat Ranking Member Robert Garcia said in a statement.

For months, Trump has downplayed the significance of the government’s Epstein collection.

“Democrats have used the ‘Epstein’ issue, which affects them far more than the Republican Party, in order to try and distract from our AMAZING Victories,” Trump said on his social media site after signing the bill Nov. 19.

The Democrats have been releasing images and documents from Epstein’s estate in recent weeks, including dozens more a week ago, which depicted Epstein and the people that he socialized with.

Those photos showed filmmaker and actor Woody Allen in several snaps, including one with an unidentified woman.

Other undated photos included more famous faces such as Microsoft founder Bill Gates and the former Prince Andrew, the disgraced British royal now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
