Who doesn’t love a visit to Grandma’s house? These guys do! Poor Grandma nearly had to steady herself when her daughter brought her two Malinois dogs to visit. They were so happy to see her! In fact, their excitement was so strong that they almost knocked poor Grandma over. Stand back, the pups are here!
The bond between a grandma and her grandpups is so special. Especially for these three. Let’s just hope that Grandma is okay after her daughter let the Malinois out of the car.
One minute you’re all alone waiting for your grandpups to arrive and the next your being tackled with love! Okay, well maybe that’s an exaggeration, but I could definitely see how Grandma might’ve been worried for a second.

The minute their mama opened the door to her car things got interesting. The three Malinois dogs ran so fast! It almost seems like they could topple Grandma over when they got to her. In fact, they probably did!
“POV: You take your Malinois to ‘Grandma’s’ house,” the video’s text overlay reads.
I think Grandma’s okay. People in the comments section were really laughing at how fast and furious the dogs were.
“Ma’am you misspelled malinois. It’s spelled S-W-A-T-T-E-A-M,” joked one person.
“I notice that Malinois owners are always running. Starting to think that’s a qualification,” another commenter teased.
“I was expecting one [Malinois]. What’s the plural of ‘Malinois?’ ‘Malinoises?’” another commenter wondered.
While another commenter had a very important question: “Is grandma still standing?” they quipped.
Are Belgian Malinois High Energy Dogs?
If you’re looking for a couch potato breed you might want to look elsewhere. Belgian Malinois aren’t exactly lazy dogs. They have both high energy levels and a high prey drive, making them difficult to manage if you aren’t ready to reign all that energy in.
It is a huge time commitment to train a Malinois and they like to wrestle and roughhouse. It’s not to say that the breed is hard to keep as a pet, but you should be aware of their peculiarities before bringing one home. A Malinois needs lots of exercise and training and you should be very mindful of their strength and energy if you have young kids. As always, do your research! You always want to bring home the exact right pet for you.
