A former Sinn Féin representative charged over a €4m cocaine seizure at a Kildare stables allegedly attempted to run from gardaí and hide in a barn when they went to arrest him, a court has ben told.
Eugene Breslin (45) appeared before a late sitting of Naas District Court on Friday evening with co-defendant Stephen Doyle (33) following their arrest on Wednesday in an operation by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB).
