The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash between a vehicle and pedestrian in Redbank last night, December 19.
Emergency services were called to Brisbane Road around 7.45pm Friday, following reports a female pedestrian had been struck by a Honda Accord.
The woman, a 58-year-old from Collingwood Park, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of the Honda, a 47-year-old Redbank Plains man, remained at the scene following the crash and was physically uninjured.
He is assisting police with their investigation.
Anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam vision of the area around the time of the incident, is urged to contact police.
Investigations remain ongoing.
