The AVCA is pleased to name its 2025 Division I Women’s Player of the Year, presented by Nike Volleyball. The 2025 Player of the Year is University of Pittsburgh’s Olivia Babcock.
The junior picks up her second consecutive AVCA Division I Women’s Player of the Year honor. She helped the Panthers to another outstanding season, and the team advanced to the NCAA championship semifinals for the fifth straight season.

Babcock averaged a career-high 5.11 kills per set this season to go with 2.11 digs per set, also a career best. She has received a number of honors this season, including 2025 ACC Player of the Year, AVCA East Coast Region Player of the Year honors and NCAA Championship Regional Most Outstanding Player.
