The show’s second season has garnered significant acclaim and audience buzz. Its first season in 2023 received 14 nominations but won only two for music and title sequence.

“The Studio,” Apple TV+’s Hollywood satire, is expected to receive numerous comedy nominations for its first season. “The White Lotus” (HBO) and “The Pitt” (HBO Max) are also expected to be major players in the drama categories. “The White Lotus” is known for its ensemble cast’s dominance in supporting categories, while “The Pitt,” a prestige medical procedural starring Noah Wyle, has quickly risen in Emmy prediction lists.

“Hacks” (HBO Max): Star Jean Smart is a favorite for best lead actress in a comedy, an award she has won for all three previous seasons. The show won best comedy series last year.

“The Bear” (FX): Its third season is up for Emmys, though its reception was more lukewarm than its record-breaking second season.

“Adolescence” (Netflix): This British crime drama is expected to dominate the limited series categories, with 15-year-old Owen Cooper, who plays a 13-year-old accused of a killing, likely to receive an acting nomination.
