Police have raided a Northern Beaches address following the death of a cyclist who was hit by a car at Mosman.
Just after 5.15am Sunday morning (21 December), emergency services responded to a report of a cyclist struck by a vehicle at Spit Road, Mosman, between Military Road and Ourimbah Road.
When police and paramedics arrived on scene, the vehicle that had struck the 64-year-old male cyclist had left the scene. The cyclist was found lying unresponsive on the roadway with a serious head injury.
NSW Ambulance Inspector Christian Holmes (image below) determined the man was critical and needed to be taken to hospital as quickly as possible.
