The Justice Department has released more than 30,000 pages of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, revealing that President Donald Trump traveled on Epstein’s private plane more frequently than previously reported. In the latest batch of documents, a federal prosecutor noted Trump’s trips on Epstein’s private plane. An assistant U.S. attorney from the Southern District of New York said in an email that flight records received in 2020 showed the president was on Epstein’s jet “many more times than previously has been reported (or that we were aware).” The prosecutor mentioned that the flight logs were flagged because lawyers didn’t want any of this to be a surprise down the road.”According to the files, Trump was listed as a passenger on at least eight flights between 1993 and 1996. Trump has described the files released last week as a distraction from his work.On one of those eight flights, in 1993, Trump and Epstein were the only two passengers listed in the flight logs. On another flight, the three passengers listed in records are Epstein, Trump, and a redacted individual, who was 20 years old at the time. One of the files also mentions the president in an FBI tip line report from 2020. A driver claimed he gave Trump a ride in the 90s and overheard him referencing Epstein and abuse of girls. He also mentioned hearing about a rape accusation involving Trump and Epstein.Another document is an alleged postcard from Epstein to Larry Nassar, the former Olympic doctor convicted of sexual abuse saying Epstein, Nassar, and Trump shared a love of young girls. The Justice Department released a statement Tuesday confirming the letter was fake and it “serves as a reminder that just because a document is released does not make the allegations factual.”It is important to note that Trump has not been accused of wrongdoing in connection with Epstein.Keep watching for the latest from the Washington News Bureau:
