It is with sadness that the family of Gayle Anne Dickinson
wish to announce her passing which occurred on December 22, 2025, at
her residence, the Pine Grove Nursing Home.  Born in
Woodstock, NB, February 27, 1940, she was the daughter of the late
Norman R. and Cora Ferne (Gartley) VanHorne.

Gayle had been employed as a waitress but dedicated most of
her life to her home and family.  

She enjoyed bingo. baseball, always cheering on the Blue
Jays, and will be remembered for her sweet tooth always enjoying a
treat.   

She is survived by her children, Anthony Dean Dickinson
(Debbie), Wanda Crouse (Brian), and Donna Robinson (Kevin), by her
brother James Brown, her sister Anne Doyle, her grandchildren; Stacey
(Jason) and Brad (Stacey), Adam (Sharon), Steven (Amy), Ryan,
Daniel, Hutch (Jennifer), Dean, Brent, great-grandchildren; Evan,
Anna, Madison, Brandon, Lorelai, Mackenzie and Riley, and along with
her cousins.

The family would like to express their thanks for the love
and care Gayle received from the staff of the Hanwell Special Care
Home and Pine Grove Nursing Home.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Bishop’s
Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road (506) 458-1885.  Following
cremation, services will be held at St. James Presbyterian Church,
Hanwell, at a date and time to be announced.  Remembrances
made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, or the Kidney Foundation
would be appreciated.
