Mayor Matthew Shoemaker posted a Christmas message to the community, wishing everyone the “blessings of family” this holiday season.
“I think 2026 will be a great year for the Sault,” he said in the video, posted to his Facebook page. “It will begin challenging, but we hope that we will get some good news throughout the year and end on a higher note than it begins.”
