British police are to seek further information from the FBI after newly released files included claims that Jeffrey Epstein‘s victims were abused at “paedophile ring” parties in Britain.

The claims appear in a batch of more than 11,000 documents released this week by the US Department of Justice.

The files contain a series of lurid and unsubstantiated allegations involving Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Epstein’s long-time associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

One allegation comes from a 35-year-old individual who claims they were abused as a child in England during the mid-1990s.

According to the heavily redacted FBI document, the individual alleges they were drugged and driven by their father to an abuse ring in Surrey when they were aged between six and eight.

The complainant further claims they were taken to Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate.

The property later became the home of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

They allege they were restrained on a table and subjected to electric shocks, given by Maxwell. Mountbatten-Windsor and other men were said to be present and watching, though no evidence was given to support this claim.

Additional allegations include claims of molestation at Epstein’s property in Florida. The individual also alleges they were struck by a dark blue vehicle with a personalised registration plate.

They claim to believe Mountbatten-Windsor was driving the car outside one of the alleged gatherings in Surrey. Surrey Police stated that it has no record of the allegations having been previously reported.

A spokesman said: “Following a review of our systems using the limited information available to us, we can find no evidence of these allegations being reported to Surrey Police. We are therefore engaging with relevant agencies to obtain access to the redacted information.”

The force said it is contacting relevant authorities, including the FBI, to obtain further details. Officers stressed that all reports of child abuse are taken seriously. Anyone with information has been urged to contact police.

US lawmakers said up to one million additional documents linked to Epstein could be released in the coming weeks. The prospect has raised concerns on both sides of the Atlantic about further allegations involving high-profile figures.

Mountbatten-Windsor, 65, has always strongly and vehemently denied any wrongdoing. His association with Epstein led to his removal from public duties as a working royal.

He was stripped of honorary military roles and royal patronages following a civil settlement in New York with Virginia Giuffre after she accused him of sexual abuse. The settlement did not involve any admission of liability.

Two months ago, King Charles removed his younger brother’s remaining titles as Prince and Duke of York. He was also eased out of Royal Lodge, the Windsor residence of the Queen Mother, from 1952 until her death in 2002.

He is now regarded as a private individual.

One royal insider said the controversy was far from over. “It’s not going away,” the source said.

Mountbatten-Windsor has never been formally interviewed by any investigating authority.

It is despite repeated requests from US prosecutors over the past decade. In June 2020, the FBI contacted the Home Office to invoke a legal assistance treaty.

They sought a voluntary interview with Mountbatten-Windsor about his links to Epstein and convicted sex offender Peter Nygard. The interview never took place.

Emails sent by Andrew to Maxwell appear among the newly released documents. The files indicate Mountbatten-Windsor was referenced in two separate criminal investigations in the States.

The revelations have intensified scrutiny of his ongoing contact with Epstein’s circle. The latest disclosures have also revived interest in Epstein’s extensive connections to Britain.

His so-called “black book”, seized during earlier investigations, contains the names of hundreds of Brits. They include politicians, celebrities, aristocrats, lawyers and business leaders.

Inclusion in the address book does not imply criminality, but it has long raised questions about Epstein’s access to the British establishment. The American travelled frequently to the UK during the 1990s and 2000s.

His network extended across London and the Home Counties. Maxwell, the daughter of the late crooked media tycoon Robert Maxwell, moved within British high society. US prosecutors said she acted as Epstein’s chief recruiter and enabler.

Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence in the States. She was convicted in 2021 of sex trafficking offences involving underage girls. Epstein died in custody by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal charges.

Mountbatten-Windsor was absent from Christmas Day services this week. The royal family attended church at St Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham Estate. His continued exclusion comes as pressure grows for transparency.

A spokesman for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been approached for comment.
