THOMAS (Tommy) CONNAUGHTON (Riversfield Estate, Midleton & late of Athlone, Co. Westmeath).

 

On December 26th 2025 peacefully at Ballincurrig Care Centre in the loving care of the Nurses, Carers and Dr. John Barry.

 

Beloved husband of Betty (née Keogh), loving father of Aiden, John, Damien and Gerard, devoted grandad to Emma, Ben, Paul, Shane, Jill, Jonah, Finn, Zoe, Evie and Rowan.

 

Son of the late Christopher and Anne Connaughton, Athlone, Co. Westmeath.

 

Tommy will be sadly missed also by his daughters-in-law Ingrid, Rachel and Anna, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

May Tommy Rest in Peace.

 

Tommy will repose at Hydes Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton, P25VW02, on Sunday 28th from 5pm–6.30pm.

 

Reception into the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton on Monday 29th for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
