A 50-year-old man has been arrested in connection with two robberies that happened last month.
Sault Ste. Marie Police say the victim was pushed to the ground and had their property stolen on Dec. 12.
The second incident was two days later in the area of Albert Street East near Abbott Street, when the victim was punched and robbed.
No physical injuries were reported and police say the victim and accused are known to one another.
Yesterday police arrested Jasen Hansen, 50. He has been charged with:
Robbery x2
Failure to Comply with Probation Order x2
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
None of the allegations have been tested in court and Hansen is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
