Balazs Toth – 7
Made a number of good saves to keep the score down. Perhaps could be questioned for the second goal but was far from the issue.
Tom Atcheson – 6
Started the game brightly and was Rovers’ best player in the first half. Tired as the game wore on but managed himself on a booking.
Sean McLoughlin – 4
Really poor start to the game and struggled with Hirst. Lost O’Shea for the second goal. Recovered in the second half.
Eiran Chasin – 5
Own goal was a bad start, perhaps could’ve had a shout to let the ball run. Produced a good block in the second half but was fortunate not to concede a penalty.
Taylor Gardner-Hickman – 5
Tried his best at right-wing-back but it isn’t his natural position. Better second half.
Axel Henriksson – 4
Played in a deeper midfield role but struggled. Rarely got on the ball and is yet to show he’s at the technical level to play in the Championship.
Sondre Tronstad – 5
A few loose passes but didn’t have much help from those around him.
Moussa Baradji – 5
Didn’t impose himself on the game. Wasted a good shooting opportunity by failing to hit the target.
Dion De Neve – 4
Could he have done more to help Cashin for the first? Maybe that’s harsh. Tried his best but end product lacked quality. Allowed Burns to get the wrong side of him for the third.
Yuki Ohashi – 5
Worked hard up front but didn’t get any real sights of goal. Was fouled by Furlong and should’ve had a penalty.
Todd Cantwell – 5
Became the pantomime villain with his Norwich connections. Little came off for him.
Substitutes:
Mathias Jorgensen (45′) – 6
Looked bright on the occasions Rovers could get him the ball with space to run into.
Adam Forshaw (90′) – N/A
On for stoppage time at 3-0.
Aodhan Doherty – N/A
Saved Ohashi five extra minutes of running around.
Unused substitutes: Michalski, O’Riordan, Ribeiro, Pickering, Pratt, Powell, Doherty
