A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a fatal stabbing.
Police were called to Noreen Avenue in Minster on Sheppey at 6.38pm following reports of an assault.
There was a large police presence in Noreen Avenue, Minster, Sheppey on January 17
Officers attended along with paramedics and a man in his 50s was confirmed dead at the scene.
A man in his 20s was arrested shortly afterwards on suspicion of murder and remains in custody pending further inquiries.
It is understood that both men were known to each other.
Witnesses reported up to 12 police cars, ambulances and fire engines were in the area overnight.
