Toronto police are investigating after a woman was stabbed and seriously injured downtown on Wednesday afternoon.
Police say a call for a stabbing in the area of Queen Street West and Willis Street, north of Bathurst Street, came in shortly after 4 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a victim, a woman in her 30s, with stab wounds.

Police say she was transported to the hospital and according to paramedics, she is in serious but non-life-threatening condition.
Meanwhile, police are searching for a white female suspect believed to be in her 30s, between five-foot-six and five-foot seven, with a medium build and short blonde hair.
She was last seen wearing a black jacket and black running shoes.
