A man has died following a shooting at a residence in Brampton.
Peel police say a call came in shortly after 5:30 p.m. for a shooting in the area of Dartford Road and Balmoral Drive, east of Bramalea Road.
When officers arrived, they located the victim with life-threatening injuries.
Police say he was pronounced dead shortly after.
The shooting appears to be isolated to a residence, police say.
They have not said if someone has been arrested but say there are no outstanding suspects.
They are asking the public to avoid the area while they investigate.
