The Countdown To WWE SummerSlam Sunday Pre-Show opens up with Michael Cole welcoming us. Cole then introduces the rest of the pre-show panelists Big E and Wade Barrett and he narrates the arrivals of Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY and Naomi. Cole then sets up a video package that recaps the first night of SummerSlam.

The panel then talks about the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match and everything else that happened on last night’s show. The panel then runs through the card for tonight’s PLE.

The panel then talks about the Undisputed WWE Championship Match between John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes and the discussion then moves on to the WWE Intercontinental Championship Match between AJ Styles vs. Dominik Mysterio.

We then get more discussion from the panel for tonight’s PLE and Joe Tessitore and Peter Rosenberg check in near a WWE satellite truck and talk about night one of SummerSlam.

Cathy Kelley then talks about IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley as well as the history between both women.

Byron Saxton then talks about the WWE Tag Team Championship 6-Pack TLC Match and Sam Roberts and Megan Morant talk about the WWE Intercontinental Championship Match between AJ Styles vs. Dominik Mysterio.

Jackie Redmond then talks about the Undisputed WWE Championship Street Fight between John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes and she provides some stats.

We are then told that the WWE Women’s World Championship Match will open tonight’s SummerSlam Sunday PLE and we get a video package on the match followed by a discussion from the panel.

Cathy Kelley is now interviewing Naomi on her motorized scooter and she circles Kelley. Kelley asks Naomi about the match. Naomi says she is sweating confidence. Naomi then says eight years ago she lost the title to Natalya. Naomi then says it won’t happen again. Kelley then reminds Naomi that she doesn’t have to be pinned to lose. Naomi then tells Kelley to proceed with caution and she threatens Kelley that she will run over her feet.

We then see Byron Saxton and Chuey Martinez with the fans.

Jackie Redmond then takes over the panel for the second hour of the countdown show and Big E stays outside the stadium. Big E, Jackie Redmond and Peter Rosenberg then talk about the match they are looking forward to on tonight’s PLE.

We then get a video package looking at the WWE United States Championship Steel Cage Match and we get a discussion from the panel.

We then get the SummerSlam in the region video package.

We then take a look at WWE: Unreal.

Byron Saxton and Chuey Martinez then return with a fan costume contest. A guy dressed like Paul “Triple H” Levesque does the water-spitting bit and gets the camera wet. Another guy does a great job of dressing like Seth “Freakin” Rollins and also had Seth’s voice down. Big E then picks the Rollins impersonator. Rosenberg, who is now at the desk, also picks the Rollins guy and Redmond makes it unanimous.

Michael Cole then interviews Becky Lynch. Cole asks Lynch about 2015 and what it meant for her and the division. Lynch says ten years ago she remembered being unsure of her position. but sure of her potential. Lynch then says she felt they were going to change the world. Lynch then says she felt like the afterthought. Lynch then says she felt like featuring Becky and it doesn’t feel that way any more. Cole then says that Lynch was so humble when she started, but her attitude has changed. Lynch then says her attitude didn’t change, it was the people whose attitude changed. Lynch then says she changed the game for the last decade and you think she is a horrible person. Lynch then says she will be that person for you. Lynch then says you held her down so she will hold you down. Cole then says Lynch used to be a role model for people, like Lyra Valkyria. Lynch then says she allowed Lyra to make history, like her idol and what does she do. Lynch then says all of her momentum and hard work and she ruined it. Lynch then says she had to be taught a lesson. Lynch then says it is tough love. Lynch then says if your dog pees on the floor, what do you do. Lynch then says you rub its face in it so it learns.

Cole then asks Lynch what does the title mean to her. Lynch says it is the workhorse championship and it means everything to her. Lynch then says she is the gatekeeper of opportunities. Lynch then says look at Lyra now. Lynch then says she elevated her. Cole then asks about tonight’s match. Lynch says she is a master of these matches because she can get to the next level. Lynch then says Lyra will have to push herself. Cole then mentions it is the first time she has been in the stadium since she main evented Wrestlemania. Lynch says it will bring back memories of her greatness. Lynch then says there is nobody who can do what she can do. Lynch then says Lyra will be out of the picture. Lynch then says Lyra won’t be in her orbit any more and it will confirm that she is the best. Lynch then says this is the cherry on top.

Sam Roberts and Megan Morant then wait to talk to Lyra Valkyria, but first they talk about the WWE Tag Team Championship 6-Pack TLC Match.

Cathy Kelley then interviews The Street Profits. Kelley asks them about their preparation for tonight. Ford says it has been their forte. Ford then says it is their division. Ford then says they won the other ladder matches. Ford then says this is their first PLE in 16 months. Ford then says they are going to show up and show out and get their titles back. Dawkins then says it is straight business. Dawkins then says they won the last one and they are going to win tonight.

We then take a look at community outreach programs WWE had in the area.

Redmond and Rosenberg then threw something called “Breath Death” out to the fans and Saxton and Martinez gave some samples to the fans inside the stadium.

We then take a look at celebrity appearances at WWE shows.

The panel then discusses the WWE Intercontinental Championship Match between AJ Styles vs. Dominik Mysterio. We then see Dominik Mysterio walking in the backstage area and Sam Roberts and Megan Morant catch up to him to ask about the match and where will it rank. Dominik says you are talking to the greatest Mysterio of all time so it will be at the top. Morant then asks Dominik about AJ. Dominik then asks Morant who has she ever beaten and he walks away.

The panel then talks about the AAA Mega Championship Match at TripleMania with El Hijo del Vikingo defending against El Grande Americano, Dominik Mysterio and Dragon Lee.

WWE SummerSlam Sunday Results (8/3/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

WWE SummerSlam Sunday opens up with Michael Cole welcoming us. Cole then narrates the arrivals of Solo Sikoa and his crew, Jacob Fatu, Lyra Valkyria, Becky Lynch and Cody Rhodes. Cole then lists the attendance of tonight’s PLE as being over 56,000. We then get the SummerSlam video package and it is narrated by Druski. Cole, who is joined on commentary by Wade Barrett, then says it is 82 degrees and there is a light breeze.

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque then makes his way down to the ring. Triple H says this is it. Triple H then says this is the moment. Triple H then says this is your time. Triple H then says all of you are part of the biggest SummerSlam in history. Triple H then says if you thought last night was something, you ain’t seen nothing yet. Triple H then asks everyone if they are ready. Triple H then welcomes everyone to the biggest SummerSlam in history. Pyro then shoots off the stage.

Rhea Ripley then makes her way down to the ring for the first match of SummerSlam Sunday and IYO SKY and Naomi follow, with Naomi’s father, guitarist Shawn McCray playing her to the ring.

WWE Women’s World Championship Triple Threat Match: Naomi (c) vs. IYO SKY vs. “The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley

The match starts off with Naomi wanting to watch SKY and Ripley fight. SKY and Ripley then turn their attention to Naomi and she leaves the ring to watch and do some stretching. SKY and Ripley then invite Naomi back into the ring and Naomi says she is good. Ripley then goes to the floor and Naomi backs up, but she backs into SKY. Naomi then goes into the ring and SKY meets her and so does Ripley. Naomi then misses a forearm on Ripley and SKY and Ripley pinballs Naomi and they punch and kick her. SKY then hits a drop kick into the corner on Naomi. Ripley then misses a boot when Naomi slides under and Ripley kicks SKY. Naomi then hits a mule kick on Ripley and follows it up with a bulldog on SKY in the corner and she hits Ripley. Naomi then hits a cross body on Ripley and SKY. Naomi then sends Ripley to the floor. Naomi then hits a kick on SKY. Naomi then hits a snap mare using the hair and a second one on SKY. Naomi then drops SKY on the top rope. Naomi then kicks SKY into the ropes. Ripley then tries to suplex Naomi to the floor, but Naomi bites the hand and hits a forearm to send Ripley to the floor.

Naomi then hits a hanging X Factor on SKY for a near fall. Naomi then hits a front face lock and forearms on SKY and she scratches SKY in the back. Naomi then hits a knee and she sends SKY into Ripley. Naomi then hits a springboard round kick and Ripley hits SKY with a DDT. Naomi then stretches Ripley and kicks her in the midsection. Naomi is then sent to the apron by Ripley and Naomi hits a kick and a hanging tombstone on the apron. Naomi then goes up top and hits a blockbuster on Ripley for a near fall. Naomi then hits a kick on Ripley’s back. SKY then leaps over Naomi and rolls through. SKY then hits a sunset flip, but Naomi rolls through and kicks SKY in the head, but Ripley stares down Naomi and nail her with a couple of clotheslines and a kick on her chest. She then sends her crashing into the mat face first and SKY hits a missile dropkick on Naomi off the top rope to nail her.

SKY then dials it up for a 619 on Naomi and Ripley subsequently hits a German suplex on Naomi. Ripley then sends SKY crashing into the mat off her shoulders face first and goes for a pin, but SKY kicks out. SKY then rolls up Ripley, but Ripley kicks out and SKY cinches in a crossface on her. She then nails Ripley with a kick on her face before pinning her, but Naomi breaks the fall. Ripley then hits a Razor’s Edge on SKY and hits a powerbomb on her, then goes for a pin. Naomi then pulls Ripley out of the ring to break the fall, then looks to pin SKY herself. Ripley then pulls Naomi back out of the ring and sends her crashing into one of the barricades. She then sends her crashing into the ring steps and delivers some right hands on her, but SKY hits a moonsault off the ropes to nail both women.

SKY then sends Naomi back in the ring and hits a kick on her face, then hits a double stomp on Ripley and hits alternating meteoras on Ripley and Naomi in opposite corners. She then steps over Naomi and climbs to the top rope, but Ripley sends SKY crashing into the ring post chest first. Naomi then nails Ripley and hits a split legged moonsault on her, then goes for a pin. SKY then hits a moonsault to break the fall, but Naomi rolls out of the way and SKY hits Ripley. Naomi then hits a sit-out on SKY, but Ripley hits Naomi with a headbutt and a Rip Tide. She then goes for a pin, but SKY breaks the fall.

Ripley and SKY then exchange right hands with one another in the ring, but Ripley hits a kick on SKY’s head. SKY then quickly recovers, but Naomi sneaks up behind her. Ripley then nails Naomi with a boot that sends her crashing off the apron and onto the floor, then hits a cannonball on Naomi off the apron. SKY then powerbombs Ripley on top of Naomi on the outside, then climbs to the top rope back in the ring. Ripley then trips SKY, then hits a Rip Tide on her off the middle rope and goes for a pin. Naomi then rolls up Ripley with a handful of trunks for the win.

After the match, Naomi celebrates with the Women’s World Championship on the ramp. In the ring, a frustrated Rhea Ripley slaps herself on the head.

Paul Levesque is then featured in an ad for SummerSlam 2026 that will be held on August 1-2 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the U.S. Bank Stadium. A drone shot is then shown over the U.S. Bank Stadium, while Cole plugs next year’s event.

NBA star Tyrese Haliburton, Nick Hogan and Michelle McCool are then shown in the crowd.

Alicia Taylor then introduces The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley) and Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy as two of the teams that took part in the original TLC match. Both teams are then shown seated separately in the crowd. Cole then hypes their final meeting for TNA Bound For Glory.

The Wyatt Sicks, Nathan Frazer and Axiom, Rey Fenix and Andrade, The Street Profits, #DIY and Motor City Machine Guns then make their way down to the ring for the next match of SummerSlam Sunday.

WWE Tag Team Championship 6-Pack TLC Match: The Wyatt Sicks (Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy) (c) vs. Andrade and Rey Fénix vs. #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) vs. Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Axiom) vs. Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) vs. The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford)

The match starts off with all of the teams standing in a circle and looking at the belts. Everyone then goes after Gacy and Lumis. Lumis is then sent to the floor and so is Gacy. Andrade is then sent to the floor and so is Axiom. Ford is then sent to the floor. Shelley and Sabin are the only ones left in the ring. Gargano and Ciampa then try to bring a ladder into the ring and Shelley and Sabin hit a double baseball slide. Axiom and Frazer then hit suicide dives. Axiom and Frazer then look up and they go for a bigger ladder at ringside. Shelley and Sabin then return to the ring and we have a two team stand off. They then stomp on the ladder and Axiom and Frazer is hurt. They then hit a double drop kick. Axiom and Frazer then set up the ladder, but Gacy and Lumis have chairs. Axiom then stops Lumis and Gacy throws a chair at Axiom on the turnbuckles. Gacy then hits a Death Valley Driver on Frazer.

Dawkins and Ford then send Gacy crashing into a ladder they have draped on the ropes, then set up a double stack of two tables with two on top of each other. Ciampa then hits a chop on Ford, but Ciampa looks to send Ford crashing through a table. Ford then avoids the table, but lands on several competitors on the outside. Sabin and Shelley then begin hitting everyone with chairs, then send Gacy crashing through one another as Ciampa sets up a table between the ring apron and the announce desk. Gargano then throws a chair at Shelley’s face, then sends Gargano crashing through a table on the outside with a DDT off the apron as Lumis flies off the top rope with a leg drop to send Ford crashing through a table on the outside. Fenix then hits a splash on Frazer off the top rope to send Frazer crashing through a table on the outside and Axiom looks to hit a Spanish Fly on Dawkins on top of Ciampa as Ciampa lies on top of two tables on the outside. Ciampa then rolls out of the way and Axiom and Dawkins are sent crashing through the tables.

Candice LeRae then appears at ringside and climbs up the ladder looking to grab the title belts. B-Fab then pulls LeRae off the ladder with a Sidewalk Slam and climbs up the ladder, but Nikki Cross stops B-Fab and pulls her off the ladder. LeRae then climbs back up the ladder to grab the title belts, but The Profits send Gargano crashing into the ladder causing LeRae to go falling off it through the ladder set up between the ring apron and the announce desk. Ford then climbs up the ladder looking to grab the title belts, but Erick Rowan tips Ford off the ladder and powerbombs him on top of Dawkins. Ford and Dawkins then repeatedly hit Rowan with chairs across his spine, but The Profits send Rowan crashing through a table set up in the corner with a double shoulder pounce.

Ciampa then climbs up the ladder to grab the title belts, but The Motor City Machine Guns pull the ladder from under him. Frazer then looks to fly off the ladder, but Ciampa gets his legs up. Gargano then hits Frazer with a kick to his midsection as Frazer looks to fly and gets the ladder back in place for Ciampa. Ford then joins Ciampa on the ladder, but Ciampa is pulled off. Axiom then begins brawling with Ford on top of the ladder as Sabin and Shelley climb up another ladder to grab the title belts. Gargano and Ciampa then follow The Motor City Machine Guns up the ladder and knock them off, but Uncle Howdy tips Ford and Axiom off the ladder. He then does the same to #DIY to send them crashing through the stack of four tables, then climbs up the ladder to grab the title belts. Frazer then looks to stop Howdy, but Howdy knocks him off the ladder with the Mandible Claw.

Fenix then brawls with Howdy on the ladder, but Howdy cinches in the Mandible Claw on him. Andrade then joins both men on the ladder and pulls Howdy off the ladder with a powerbomb. Gacy and Lumis then hit Fenix with a couple of chairs and send him crashing into the mat. Gacy then climbs up the ladder to grab the title belts as Lumis keeps a lookout on the ground for the win.

We then get highlights of Seth Rollins cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase on CM Punk at SummerSlam night one, while they play audio of the match in various languages.

We then get a video package looking at the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match. Lyra Valkyria then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of SummerSlam Sunday and Becky Lynch follows with her new entrance theme music.

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship No Disqualification, No Countout Last Chance Match: “The Man” Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lyra Valkyria

The match starts off with both women staring at each other before Lynch slaps Valkyria. Valkyria then slaps Lynch back and hits Lynch with a forearm and Lynch goes down. Valkyria then hits an Irish whip on Lynch and kicks her in the corner. Valkyria then hits Lynch with another Irish whip that sends Lynch face first into the turnbuckles. Valkyria then hits an Irish whip and a hip toss. Lynch then goes to the floor. Valkyria then goes for the drop kick through the ropes, but Lynch moves. Lynch then sends Valkyria into the announce desk.

Lynch then goes under the ring for a kendo stick. Valkyria then goes up and she has a crow bar. Valkyria then breaks the kendo stick and Lynch begs for mercy, but Valkyria misses. Lynch then hits a kick and she sends Valkyria into the ring steps. Lynch then tries to send Valkyria into the ringside barrier, but Valkyria lands on top and she kicks Lynch. Valkyria then sends Lynch into the ringside barrier and ring steps. Valkyria then hits forearms and chops. Valkyria then kicks Lynch against the ringside barrier. Valkyria then sends Lynch into a photographer and the ringside barrier. Valkyria then sends Lynch into the ring post. Valkyria then sends Lynch over the announce desk.

Lynch then sits in a chair and Valkyria hits her with a drop kick to send her to the floor. Valkyria then goes under the ring and she gets a table. Valkyria then sets up the table on the floor. Lynch then chokes Valkyria with a chain and holds her against the ring post. Lynch then sends Valkyria into the ring steps. Lynch then sends Valkyria back into the ring and she has the kendo stick and hits Valkyria in the back with it. Lynch then hits a Side Russian Leg Sweep for a near fall. Lynch then nails the kendo stick into the ribs. Lynch then whiffs and Valkyria tries to get Lynch up, but Lynch escapes and hits a reverse DDT for a near fall. Lynch then kicks Valkyria and hits her again with the kendo stick. Lynch then gets the tool box. Lynch then grabs a couple of chairs and sends them in the ring. Lynch then hits Valkyria with the chair across the spine repeatedly, then sends Valkyria crashing into the chair with a drop toe hold and hits Valkyria in the face with the toolbox.

Lynch then places a zip tie around Valkyria’s wrists, then grabs a wrench from the toolbox and repeatedly hits Valkyria with it on her shoulder. She then hits a splash on Valkyria in the corner using the wrench, but Valkyria tries to use the ring steps to get the zip ties off her wrists. Lynch then ties Valkyria’s hands off the ring post using the zip ties and hits her repeatedly across her midsection with a couple of kendo sticks. Lynch then hits a leg drop on Valkyria off the top rope back inside the ring and pins her, but Valkyria kicks out and hits a belly-to-belly suplex on Lynch. She then uses two chairs set up face-to-face to hit a dropkick on Lynch, then hits a moonsault off the ropes on Lynch as her hands are still zip tied.

Valkyria then sends Lynch’s face repeatedly bouncing off the two chairs that are face-to-face, then unties the turnbuckle pad to expose the turnbuckle and sneaks out of the ring. Lynch then looks for Valkyria on the outside, then checks under the ring where Valkyria is waiting with a fire extinguisher in hand. She then sprays Lynch with the fire extinguisher, then tries to unsuccessfully use the edge of the extinguisher to break herself free from the zip ties. Valkyria then goes under the ring to break free of the zip ties, but Lynch looks to surprise her with kendo stick shots when she reemerges. Valkyria then grabs the kendo stick from Lynch and repeatedly hits her with it.

Valkyria then uses a chair to dropkick Lynch through the middle rope, then hits a Night Wing on her off the ring steps and onto the floor. Valkyria then sends Lynch back into the ring, but Lynch sends Valkyria crashing into the exposed turnbuckle and follows it up with a Man Handle Slam onto the two chairs that are face-to-face with one another. She then goes for a pin, but Valkyria kicks out at the last second. Lynch then sends Valkyria’s face repeatedly bouncing off a chair and delivers some kicks on the back of Valkyria’s neck, then tangles Valkyria up in a chair and sends her crashing into the announce desk twice. Valkyria then sends Lynch crashing into the ring post using the chair, but Lynch sends Valkyria into the ring post using the legs of the chair and hits a kick on her off the announce desk as Valkyria is still trapped in the chair.

Lynch then looks to use the crowbar on Valkyria, but Bayley sneaks up behind her and grabs the crowbar from Lynch. Lynch then encourages Bayley to hit Valkyria with the crowbar, but Bayley throws down the crowbar and delivers some right hands on Lynch. She then sends Lynch crashing into the barricade repeatedly and charges at her. Lynch then moves out of the way, but Valkyria sends Lynch crashing through a table on the outside. Valkyria then sends Lynch back in the ring, but Bayley looks to nail Lynch and accidentally ends up hitting Valkyria. This then opens the door for Lynch to hit the Man Handle Slam on Valkyria for the win.

Jelly Roll is then shown in the crowd. He then plays to the crowd and sells the jaw pain from his match the night before. Metro Boomin and Tigirlily Gold are also shown elsewhere in the crowd. New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson is then shown holding a Giants’ replica title belt with his kids.

The Steel Cage then starts to lower as the cage-lowering music is played. Cole then sets up a video package for the the WWE United States Championship Match. Solo Sikoa then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of SummerSlam Sunday and Jacob Fatu follows.

WWE United States Championship Steel Cage Match: MFT’s Solo Sikoa (c) vs. “The Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu

The match starts off with Solo Sikoa saying something to Jacob Fatu and Fatu punches Sikoa. Fatu then punches Sikoa more. Sikoa then hits a boot on Fatu, but Fatu responds with a back elbow. Fatu then tries to send Sikoa into the cage, but Sikoa blocks it. Fatu then hits a head butt on Sikoa and he head butts Sikoa from the corner. Fatu then hits a flying forearm. Sikoa then avoids being sent into the cage and he back drops Fatu into the cage. Sikoa then hits a splash to the back to send Fatu into the cage. Sikoa then hits another splash on Fatu against the cage. Sikoa then hits a back senton. Sikoa then slams Fatu’s head into the cage. Sikoa then a head butt and punches Fatu. Sikoa then hits a running splash into the cage. Sikoa then asks for the door to be opened and he is stopped by Fatu. Sikoa then punches Fatu while the cage door is closed. Sikoa then sets up for the Samoan Spike, but Fatu avoids it. Fatu then hits a super kick. Sikoa then hits a super kick.

Sikoa and Fatu then exchange right hands before Fatu sends Sikoa crashing into three sides of the cage. Sikoa then sends Fatu crashing into one of the sides of the cage, but Fatu quickly recovers and hits a Hip Attack on Sikoa in the corner. He then follows it up with a couple of moonsaults off the top rope and goes for a pin, but Sikoa kicks out. Talla Tonga, Tonga Loa and JC Mateo then run down to the ring and surround the cage on three of the sides. Jimmy Uso’s music then hits and blindsides Loa with a superkick, then hits one on Mateo. Talla then runs over Jimmy with a boot to the side of his face and sends him crashing into one of the sides of the cage, then sends him over the Spanish announce desk.

Sikoa then looks to escape through the door, but Fatu stops him and tells the referee to lock the door of the cage. The referee does so, but Sikoa surprises Fatu with a Samoan Spike. He then goes for a pin, but Fatu kicks out and Sikoa looks to climb out of the cage. Fatu then pulls Sikoa back inside and delivers some headbutts on him, but Mateo scales the cage. Fatu then fights him off, but Talla scales the cage and handcuffs Fatu to the top of the cage. Mateo then unlocks the cage from the outside, with Loa having been pulled inside the cage. Sikoa then looks to escape, but Fatu escapes the handcuffs by breaking the chain and stops Sikoa from escaping the cage through the door. Sikoa then tries escaping through the door of the cage once again, but Fatu blocks him. Talla then uses the cage door to hit Fatu with, allowing Sikoa to escape through the door and retain.

After the match, Jimmy blindsides Mateo with a superkick and sends him crashing into the side of the cage. He then sends him inside and locks him in with Fatu. Fatu then hits a superkick on Loa and sends Mateo crashing into the side of the cage, then hits a moonsault on both Mateo and Loa.

We then get a video package looking at the WWE Intercontinental Championship Match. Dominik Mysterio then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of SummerSlam Sunday and AJ Styles follows.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: The Judgment Day’s “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles

The match starts off with Dominik rolling to the floor. Dominik then misses an elbow drop when Styles slides back into the ring. Styles then hits a back breaker on Dominik. Dominik then wants a test of strength. Dominik then goes for a kick, but Styles blocks it and hits an atomic drop. Styles then follows it up with a clothesline to send Dominik over the top rope and to the floor. Styles then looks for a pescado, but Dominik moves. Styles then lands on the apron and Dominik hits a leg sweep on the apron and he sends Styles to the floor. Dominik then hits a springboard cross body on Styles on the floor.

Dominik then hits a slingshot senton for a near fall. Dominik then hits some kicks in the corner. Styles then blocks a super rana and Dominik kicks him to avoid a super Styles Clash. Styles then hits a tornado DDT off the turnbuckles. Styles then hits a clothesline and a sliding forearm. Styles then hits a clothesline into the corner and follows it up with an Ushigoroshi for a near fall. Dominik then misses a clothesline and Styles hits a Pele Kick. Dominik then sends Styles to the apron and Styles hits a forearm. Styles then leaps over Dominik and rolls through. Dominik then hits a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Dominik then hits a suplex and he holds on for the second one. Dominik then sets for the third Amigo, but Styles counters with a brainbuster.

Styles then looks to fly off the top rope. Dominik then gets his knees up and sends Styles crashing into the ropes, then dials it up for a 619 and flies off the ropes. Styles then gets his boots up, then cinches in the Calf Crusher on Dominik. Dominik then crawls over to the bottom rope to escape. As the referee fixes one of the turnbuckle pads, Dominik grabs a chair and hits it onto the floor. He then tosses it over to Styles and pretends to be hit with the chair by Styles. Styles then places the chair around his neck and pretends that he was the one hit with it, but the referee doesn’t know who to believe. Styles then cinches in a Calf Crusher on Dominik once again, but Dominik sends Styles crashing into the referee. Dominik then hits Styles with his boot and climbs to the top, then hits a Frog Splash on Styles for the win.

After the match, highlights are shown of Dominik loosening his boot while commentary marvels over Dominik planning for that to happen.

Stephanie McMahon is standing in the ring and she is introduced by Alicia Taylor. Stephanie then announces the attendance as 60,561. She then says the two-night attendance is 113,722, making it the biggest SummerSlam in history. Pyro then shoots off above the stage.

Video footage is then shown from the TLC Match with international broadcast teams calling the action.

We then get a video package looking at the main event of the night. Cody Rhodes then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of SummerSlam Sunday and John Cena follows.

Undisputed WWE Championship Street Fight: John Cena (c) vs. 2025 King of the Ring winner “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes

The match starts off with Cena and Cody meeting in the middle of the ring. Cena then hugs Cody. They then spoke and threw punches at one another. Cena then sends Cody to the floor and follows him. Cody then sends Cena into the ring steps. Cody then picks up Cena and sends him into the apron. Cody then hits a punch on Cena. Cena then Irish whips Cody into the ring steps. Cena then takes Halliburton’s crutch and he hits Cody with it. They then return to the ring and Cena brings the bottom part of the ring steps into the ring. Cena then goes for an Attitude Adjustment onto the steps, but Cody escapes and he slams Cena onto the steps. Cody then goes to the turnbuckles and Cena gets up and pushes Cody off the turnbuckles to the floor. Cena then presses the steps over his head and he tosses them at Cody.

Cena then sends Cody into the ringside barrier and Cody hits a springboard Beautiful Disaster to knock Cena off the apron. Cody then hits a side Russian leg sweep for a near fall. Cody then hits a kick and a drop down uppercut for a near fall. Cody then cinches in a hammer lock using his leg and a rear chin lock. Cena then kicks Cody in the midsection and hits him with an Irish whip. Cody then floats over and hits a power slam for a near fall. Cena then back drops Cody over the top rope to the floor. Cody then looks under the ring and he gets a chair. Cena also has a chair. They then enter the ring and Cody gets the advantage and he kicks Cena’s chair to the floor. Cody then hits Cena with the chair and Cody gets a near fall. Cody then puts the chair in the turnbuckles. Cena then reverses an Irish whip and he sends Cody into the chair in the turnbuckles.

Cena then hits two flying shoulder tackles and follows it up with a Blue Thunder Bomb. Cena then hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle and he gets Cody up for an Attitude Adjustment, but Cody escapes. Cody then hits two clotheslines and some jabs, then follows it up with a bionic elbow. Cody then hits a Cody Cutter for a near fall. Cody then picks Cena up and Cena gets Cody up for an Attitude Adjustment and Cena gets a near fall. Cody then kicks Cena away on an STF attempt. Cody then hits a kick and he goes up top and he hits a moonsault for a near fall. Cody then hits Beautiful Disaster for a near fall. Cody then goes to the turnbuckles for a double jump Cody Cutter for a near fall. Cena then gets Cody on his shoulders and he hits an electric chair drop for a near fall. Cena then gets Cody up and Cody gets to his feet. Cody then hits a piledriver for a near fall.

The referee then checks on Cena after the piledriver and he holds Cody back. Cody then picks up Cena and Cena hits an Attitude Adjustment and both men are down. Cody then hits a punch and Cena punches back. They then continue the exchange. Cody then hits a kick and Cena hits some punches. Both men then exchange punches. Cody then hits a pop up powerbomb for a near fall. Cena then hits an STF. Cody then gets to the ropes, but there are no rope breaks and Cena holds on. Cody then pulls Cena into the bottom rope to get out of the hold. Cena then sends Cody into the apron. Cody then Irish whips Cena over the ringside barrier into the time keeper’s area. Cena then hits Cody in the head with a microphone. Cena then hits a Code Red and he adjusts the announce desk. Cena then puts Cody on the other announce desk. Cena then gets Cody up for an Attitude Adjustment through the other table and he hits it.
