Ryan Naderi – Rangers target’s career in numbers

There are a few reasons why Hansa Rostock are playing hard-ball with Rangers over the transfer of Ryan Naderi.

Firstly, as it stands right now, their sporting director Amir Shapourzadeh doesn’t have a replacement at that level lined up.

But also, the German club see this is a vital season for them.

They’re currently sixth in the Bundesliga 3 table and there is pressure on Rostock gaffer Daniel Brinkmann to get them promoted this term.

If Naderi can help them get up, the club believes they could earn THREE times as much money for the striker than what Rangers are currently offering, which is around £3million.

Record Sport understands the likes of Mainz, FC Heidenheim, Kaiserslautern and Arminia Bielefeld have all made inquires about the 22-year-old’s availability in recent weeks.

Naderi is keen to make the move to Ibrox, though, and that has left Hansa Rostock in a difficult position.

In terms of their promotion hopes, they see it as a huge risk to let him go now.

And even if they don’t get promotion, they’re confident of getting the same money Rangers are offering now for their star man.

The flip side is, they could have an unhappy player on their hands if they decide to block Gers’ bid.

And if the player picks up an injury between now and the summer, they’ll have lost out on a significant transfer fee.
