Kian Moulton was labelled a ‘scumbag’ by a family member after he murdered Birmingham schoolboy Leo Ross.
None of Moulton’s family or friends were inside the court during the teenager’s sentencing on Tuesday (Feb 10).
According to The Mirror, at least one close relative has ‘completely disowned’ Moulton.

The family member said the court case had been a difficult time ‘because of my name being attached to what that scumbag did’.
They added there ‘is a lot’ they could say about the way he was brought up.

The court was previously told that Moulton’s parents split up when he was young and he had minimal contact with his mother from the age of four.
But the family member made it clear they were not interested in defending or making excuses for the killer.

The close relative added: “I couldn’t care less what happens to him.”
Moulton’s family have moved to a different area following his crime.
After he admitted he had stabbed Leo, 12, to death last year, Moulton, now 15, was sentenced to life with a minimum of 13 years.
This means Moulton may only be 27 when he is released from prison.
