Nottingham Forest have confirmed the appointment of Vitor Pereira as the new head coach.
Sean Dyche was sacked after Wednesday’s 0-0 draw against Wolves at the City Ground, with the head coach departing after just 114 days in the hot seat.

Senior players informed Evangelos Marinakis of how much they disliked Dyche’s training methods, and subsequently, the Forest owner opted to make a change once again.
Pereira becomes Forest’s fourth permanent manager of the campaign, and now, details have emerged following his arrival on Trentside.

Pereira becoming the fourth head coach of the season is pretty ridiculous, but the only remit for Forest at this stage is Premier League survival.
The club’s official media team has confirmed that the head coach has penned an 18-month contract with Forest as he replaces Dyche.
Pereira will hope to make a similar impact on the Forest team as he managed to do when first given the Wolves job last season.
He led the team from the foot of the Premier League to survival at a canter, and it wasn’t until his best players were stripped away from him that things went awry at Molineux.
Pereira names backroom team at Forest
With Dyche departing, Ian Woan, Steve Stone and Billy Mercer have all departed the club, with Pereira appointing a completely new backroom team.
Pereira will be assisted by Filipe Jorge Monteiro Almeida, with Luis Miguel Moreira Da Silva also acting as another right-hand man for the Portuguese performer.

Bruno Filipe Araujo De Moura will be the Head of Physical Performance and Opposition Analysis, with Pedro Simon Capela Silva Lopes coming in as another Opposition Analyst.
Given that a goalkeeper coach hasn’t been appointed, it seems as though Wayne Hennessey will continue his work in that sense, although that will need clarification.
Pereira will get to work on the training ground on Monday ahead of a busy week for the football club with crucial games on the horizon.
