The initial incident occurred on February 13, with the second taking place on February 15. Reports suggests the Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance was deployed to the location on both dates.

Throughout the first incident, there were “extensive efforts” to save the gentleman’s life after emergency services received the call to the supermarket at 4:55pm on Friday of last week. A man in his seventies was suffering a cardiac arrest, police confirmed, and passed away approximately 40 minutes afterwards, reports the Mirror.

Wiltshire Police stated there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

“Extensive efforts were made to save the man’s life, but he sadly died around 40 minutes later. The death is being treated as non-suspicious and no one has been arrested.”

Concerning the second incident, police confirmed they received a call at approximately 10:15am on February 15 regarding another medical emergency. A gentleman in his seventies was pronounced dead at the location, the force confirmed.

In a statement, the force added: “At around 10.15am yesterday we responded to a medical episode at the West Swindon District Centre involving a man in his 70s. He was sadly declared dead at the scene. There are no suspicious circumstances and our thoughts are with his family.”
