Celtic fans would have had that Julian Araujo winner on repeat.

But it’s not only the stoppage-time winner against Kilmarnock that has gone viral, but the limbs from the fans in the away end at Rugby Park and Araujo’s celebrations.

Celtic’s January signing from Bournemouth ran straight into the away end and started to dance with his supporters, as Martin O’Neill’s side scored in stoppage time, to their benefit, for the third game running.

Whilst Celtic supporters enjoyed that potentially season-defining moment, everything associated with that goal has gone viral, and it has been brilliant viewing.

Why have Celtic been able to score so many late goals this season?

From Araujo’s homeland of Mexico, his adopted country, the United States of America, to British shores, various media outlets have reacted to that moment of utter joy at Rugby Park.

All Futbol MX, a Mexican-based social media account, couldn’t contain itself when Araujo fired in the winner against Kilmarnock, as they wrote the following message.

‘JULIAN ARAUJO WITH A LAST-MINUTE WINNER TO SCORE HIS FIRST EVER GOAL WITH CELTIC FC! WHAT A MOMENT AND WHAT A CELEBRATION!’ wrote All Futbol MX.

Then you have ‘The 44’, a social media account that talks about English Premier League and Championship football.

But even they couldn’t help but admire Celtic’s magic at Killie, with the message that Araujo’s celebrations were ‘one of the greatest of all time.’

‘Might be one of the greatest celebrations of all time…So much time for players jumping in with the fans LOVE IT!!’ wrote The 44.

Then, all the way in America, Barstool Sports, which has nearly seven million followers on X, also admired the celebrations.

When you have to watch MLS week in and week out, then anything European-based might seem incredible for the American audience.

‘European goal celebrations just hit different,’ wrote Barstool Sports.
