A real estate agent from York Region is facing charges after allegedly sexually assaulting a client and committing an indecent act.

York Regional Police say on Feb. 9, a female contacted a realtor from a social media sales platform about a rental listing. The following day police say the realtor asked her to visit the listed property, however that was not possible.

Instead, they agreed to meet at her home to discuss the listing.

There, the realtor allegedly sexually assaulted her and committed an indecent act before leaving her home.

Police say the victim was not physically injured during the incident.

On Feb. 16, Farzad Farhoodinejad, 44, of Vaughan, was arrested and charged with sexual assault and indecent act.

Investigators have released his photo as they believe there may be more victims.

This investigation is ongoing and anyone with further information is asked to contact the #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7441, or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
