Police are investigating social media videos after violence broke out during a Britain First march and counter protests in Manchester.
Nine men were arrested after “altercations” between groups, Greater Manchester Police said.
They include two men on suspicion of assaulting emergency service workers, three for public order offences and one for assault.
Police said the demonstrations had been mainly peaceful.
