Teenage sensations like Michael Noonan and Victor Ozhianvuna have put themselves and their young contemporaries in the spotlight based off their exploits with Shamrock Rovers this year, with a batch of big clubs in the UK and in Europe tracking them.

Add to the mix impressive teenage attackers like Mason Melia (St Pat’s), Rhys Brennan and Markuss Strods (Bohs), Owen Elding (Sligo Rovers), Cathal O’Sullivan (Cork City), Fuhad Kareem (Drogheda United) and Billy O’Neill (Bray Wanderers), and the League of Ireland very much looks like a young man’s game.
