TUI Airways cancelled flight TOM6354 from Bournemouth to Paphos which was scheduled for Wednesday, March 4 along with three other flights in other parts of the UK.
The update was given from the airline via it’s ‘travel alerts’ on Tuesday at 3:30pm.Â

In a statement on their website TUI said: “The safety of our customers and crew is our highest priority.
“Due to the current situation, TUI Airways has made the decision to cancel four flights due to travel to Cyprus on Wednesday 4th March.
“We appreciate this may not be the update you were hoping for about your upcoming holiday, and we’re truly sorry for any disappointment.
The airline reassured customers that impacted passengers would be contacted directly and offered a fee-free amend to their booking, complete with a rebooking incentive, or a full refund.
Tui added: “Your safety, along with that of our crew, remains our main priority.”
The firm said that they are closely monitoring the situation with it’s airline partners and will be be bringing passengers who are currently in Cyprus back to the UK “as soon as it is safe to do so”.
On it’s website, Tui said: “We are working though bookings in date order and will call you to discuss your options.
“If you choose to call us, please be aware that we are receiving an exceptional volume of calls and there may be some delay in your call being answered.”
