West Ham United defender Jean-Clair Todibo was full of praise for Crysencio Summerville after their win over Fulham on Wednesday night.
Summerville scored again as West Ham United beat Fulham 1-0 to claim a vital three points in the relegation battle.

That was Summerville’s fifth goal of the Premier League season and his seventh overall, with the Dutchman again proving decisive.
Todibo, like many others no doubt, was very impressed.

The defender was speaking to West Ham United’s official YouTube channel after the game.
Todibo paid special mention to Summerville and said: “The guy is incredible! Unfortunately, his injury slowed him down and people didn’t see a lot of him last year, but I think he did show glimpses of what he was capable of.
“At the moment, he’s just unbelievable. When he takes the ball, I think everyone is scared in the league. That’s the player he wants to be, and he has the quality to do it, so I’m really pleased for him.”
Summerville will rightly get a lot of praise for his goal. The composure he showed not to rush when a chance was presented to him was very impressive and spoke of a player operating with supreme confidence.

Still, Todibo’s performance is also worth a mention. He was brought in alongside Axel Disasi at the expense of Konstantinos Mavropanos and barely put a foot wrong.
As well as he has been playing, Summerville’s goals wouldn’t be firing West Ham closer to safety if it were not for the defensive improvements made by the likes of Todibo, Mavropanos and Disasi.

Indeed, West Ham’s recent improvement is clearly a team effort. The way in which the defence has improved has been equally as impressive as Summerville’s form, after all.
Still, in such dire situations, it’s natural to want to look for a saviour and Summerville is proving exactly that.
The goal against Fulham was the second one he’s scored this season that has directly resulted in West Ham claiming three Premier League points, with the other coming against Burnley last month.
Summerville is in brilliant form for West Ham and has earned them six points in the Premier League this season.
Without him, they’d have been stranded a long time ago.
