With all the fallout of Celtic’s win over Rangers in the Scottish Cup, many would have been forgiven for forgetting that St Mirren await the champions in the semi-final at Hampden.
Celtic beat Rangers in a dramatic penalty shoot-out at Ibrox but the result was heavily overshadowed by the shameful Ibrox scenes at the end of the game.

Celtic now look forward to facing St Mirren in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup on Sunday the 19th April as confirmed on X by the Parkhead club.
The match has the unusual kick-off time of 2pm and by the time the fixture comes around, Martin O’Neill should know who will face him in the opposite dugout after Stephen Robinson left St Mirren to join Aberdeen this week.

Premier Sports will show the game live from 2pm with the programme likely to start at least 30 minutes earlier to bring Celtic fans all the big build-up to the Hampden clash.
With Celtic facing Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon, Hoops fans will be hoping that by the time the Scottish Cup clash comes around, the Bhoys will be on top of the league and on the way to a possible double this season.
