Here are the latest updates from day 22 of the United States’ and Israel’s war against Iran and Hezbollah:

â–  Trump objected to the U.S. signing a cease-fire with Iran, saying there’s no reason to sign one when America is “obliterating” the Islamic regime. Later, Trump said that Washington is “getting very close to meeting our objectives” and that it considers “winding down” the war effort.

â–  Israeli military officials say Iran likely fired a cluster missile at central Israel in its attack on Saturday morning, damaging several buildings across at least four impact sites. No injuries were reported.

â–  Iranian reports said Tehran targeted a U.S.-U.K. military base located about 4,000 kilometers (2,485 miles) away using intermediate-range ballistic missiles.

â–  Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian said that Tehran is “not engaged with any dispute” with neighboring Islamic countries. Pezeshkian added that “the only beneficiary of our differences is the Zionist entity.”
