Salzgitter CEO Gunnar Groebler tells CNBC he is forecasting a reduced order intake for 2026, as the war in Iran weighs on both the metals sector and its client base. Groebler adds that the company is in a strong position to benefit from the rise in European defence spending, but stresses it still makes up just a small portion of the overall steel market.
