Toronto police say they responded to threats at 11 high schools within the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) on Monday.
The threats, they believe, all came from a voicemail from the same individual(s) over the weekend.
No arrests have been made at this point, Const. Ashley Visser told CP24 on Monday afternoon.
The media officer said police attended all locations, which have not been disclosed, “investigated, and deemed that there was no credible threat.”
Marc Garneau CI threat March 23 Police cruisers are seen outside Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute in North York on March 23 following a threat.
Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute, near Don Mills Road and Overlea Boulevard, was one of the affected schools.
It was evacuated shortly after 8 a.m.
Investigators have not disclosed details of the threat, saying only that no injuries were reported and that it was deemed “unfounded.”
Students were allowed back into the school a short time later.
Winston Churchill Collegiate, near Lawrence Avenue East and Kennedy Road in Scarborough, also received a threat and was placed in hold-and-secure earlier today, police, said, but that order was also lifted after it was deemed to be “unfounded.”
