Gardaí are investigating the death of a man who was found unresponsive in a car in Co Tipperary.
Gardaí and emergency services were called to an incident involving a single vehicle outside a premises on the Old Dublin Road in Nenagh shortly after 10.10pm on Wednesday.
The driver, a man in his 40s, was found unresponsive at the scene. He received medical treatment before being taken to University Hospital Limerick. He was later pronounced dead.
A garda spokesperson said the coroner has been notified and an autopsy is due to be arranged.
The scene had been preserved for gardaí to carry out a technical examination. It has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who may have any information regarding the incident to come forward.
Road users with camera footage, including dash-cam recordings, who were travelling in the Nenagh area between 9pm and 10.30pm on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, are asked to share this material with gardaí.
