A man has been arrested after an alleged sexual assault at rapper Gunna’s concert at the O2 Arena.

The Metropolitan Police said officers were called to the venue in North Greenwich, south-east London, at about 20:20 GMT on Wednesday.

The force said a woman in her 20s was approached from behind by a 26-year-old man who was “swiftly” arrested after being held by staff at the venue. He remains in police custody.

The victim is being supported by specially-trained officers, according to the Met, which says it is prioritising women’s safety by working closely with venues to provide training for staff. The O2 said security and police “attended promptly”.
