Tributes have been paid to a “funny and honest” 26‑year‑old man who was shot dead near Euston station.

The Metropolitan Police said CCTV showed Nahom Medhanie was shot several times while sitting in a white Nissan Juke in Chalton Street at around 22:30 BST on Saturday. The suspect arrived and left on a bike, police said.

No arrests have been made and inquiries are continuing.

In a tribute, Medhanie’s family said: “Nahom was more than a son and a brother to us and since his passing it has been the hardest days of our lives.”
