A Florida teacher covered in tattoos allegedly told his girlfriend he only dated her because he wanted to be with her 13-year-old daughter, according to police.
Daniel Le Lievre, 41, was arrested on Monday in Oviedo, about 25 minutes outside of Orlando, after it was found that he allegedly groomed his teenage student before sexually assaulting her, a police report obtained by the Daily Mail stated.
After dating the girl’s mother for about four months, Le Lievre, who has two daughters of his own, told the woman he only had a relationship with her so he could ‘get closer’ to the teen, the report detailed.
The twisted educator started dating the girl’s mother in October 2023, when Le Lievre started to direct nearly all of his attention toward the teenager, the mother told a detective with the Oviedo Police Department on February 2, 2026, per the report.
Le Lievre would have the woman and her daughter spend the night at his home in Oviedo, including during the nearly month-long winter break in the 2023 to 2024 school year, police stated.
While staying at his home before Christmas Day in 2023, the girl said he told her to take off her clothes while she went to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
Once she was naked, Le Lievre got on top of her on the bathroom floor and had sexual intercourse with her that lasted about 10 minutes, the report detailed.
The teen recalled neither of them saying anything during the alleged encounter, but once it was over, he told her ‘not to tell anyone what happened,’ per the report.
Daniel Le Lievre, 41, was arrested on Monday at his home in Oviedo, Florida, after investigators found out that he allegedly raped on of his students, 13, after dating her mother to ‘get closer’ to the teen
The victim was one of his students when he taught at Tuskawilla Middle School from August 2022 to May 2024
He would also spend ‘alone time’ with the girl in his classroom at all times of the day, and kept a drawer in his desk filled with her perfume and a blanket.
It was also ‘common’ for the adult to hold the teen’s hand and call her at all hours of the night. At one point, the girl’s mom caught him holding her daughter’s hand while they vacationed at Disney Springs, the document said.
Le Lievre even opened a bank account in the student’s name that he would add money to, and he would log in to her school accounts to make changes to her schedule so he could add her to another one of his classes ‘without the knowledge or consent’ of her mother, the report detailed.
During this time, he also made two separate websites ‘to secretly communicate’ with the victim, and even taught her Morse code ‘so they could communicate to each other undetected,’ the document added.
According to the report, in an apparent bid to hide his tracks, Le Lievre created what he referred to as ‘throw away’ email addresses and told the girl to delete their conversations.
He was arrested on Monday at his home and declined to speak to the police without a lawyer present.
Le Lievre was previously investigated by the school board on two other occasions in 2024 over allegations of inappropriate conduct, the arrest report stated.
Both investigations found that he violated policies relating to ‘student abuse, abandonment and neglect,’ and ‘relationships with students,’ the police report said.
It is unclear if those instances involved the same victim in his criminal case.

He was placed on administrative leave as a result, but resigned during that time, a spokesperson with the Seminole County school board confirmed to the Daily Mail.
‘We can confirm that Daniel Le Lievre was a teacher at Tuskawilla Middle School from 8/4/2022 through 5/03/2024.
‘He was placed on administrative leave due to allegations of inappropriate communications/relations with a minor on 4/26/2024 and did not return to the classroom. Mr. Le Lievre resigned in lieu of termination and is not eligible for rehire.
‘The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority, and any type of behavior that undermines that safety will not be tolerated at Seminole County Public Schools,’ they added.
Le Lievre has been charged with custodial sexual battery and sex offense by an authority figure soliciting a romantic relationship with a student.
He is being held without bond, the report stated.
