Comedian and Bob’s Burgers voice actor Eugene Mirman was pulled from a fiery car crash on March 31, People reports. New Hampshire governor Kelly Ayotte, her security detail, and several bystanders pulled Mirman from his car when it collided with a toll plaza on the F.E. Everett Turnpike. Police said in a press release that Mirman “was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with serious injuries.” Besides voicing Gene Belcher on Bob’s Burgers, Mirman has appeared on Flight of the Conchords, Home Movies, and Delocated.

No charges have been made regarding the collision, but police say it remains under investigation. Governor Ayotte thanked the state trooper in her security detail, as well as the citizens who assisted them, in a statement on Twitter. “I want to thank the Trooper on my security detail and the bystanders who stepped up to help at the scene of the crash for their brave lifesaving efforts today,” she wrote. “Joe and I are praying for the full recovery of the driver who was injured today.”
